Quality Control Chemist

Do you want to work with analysis of biopharmaceuticals in a GMP environment? Would you like to be responsible for analytical methods developed and validated by Alphalyse and offered to biopharma clients all over Europe and North America? Job description

We seek a new colleague with previous experience as a quality control (QC) chemist. As a QC Chemist at Alphalyse, you will be responsible for analytical methods developed and validated by Alphalyse, including:

  • Reviewing and approving analytical raw data
  • Good documentation practice and training
  • Control charts for methods
  • Handling deviations and changes
  • Laboratory investigations
  • Maintaining and overseeing supporting laboratory procedures and processes
  • Equipment qualification and maintenance activities
  • Audits and inspections

You will also assist in coordinating laboratory work with our method development and validation team for new analytical methods.

Your skills and experience

Ideally, you have several years of experience as a quality control chemist from cGMP settings and experience with SOPs and method validation. Experience with chromatographic methods, protein analysis, mass spectrometry, automation of laboratory processes, and LIMs will be considered an advantage. As a person, you are self-motivating and have a pragmatic attitude and approach to the daily work – without compromising quality. You should also be interested in acting as a QC representative on client projects.
